Stage 14: Christmas in Valparaiso

Christmas doesn’t really do much for me. That being said I didn’t want to be stuck in a large city or a tiny village during the festibe season.

With so many religious holidays in South America, I was conerned about being stuck somewhere where everything is closed.

Rather than start the long journey to Puerto Montt, we decided to head to Valparaiso for Christmas.

Even if everything did close down we could at least chill out on the beach.

Just 70 miles from Santiago this was to be one of our shortest journeys yet.
